Ali Odeh is an alchemist and lotus priest who has devoted five years to Nymphaea caerulea.
A chance encounter with the Blue Lotus in 2021 set Ali on an unlikely path. He built his craft from nothing, carried out field research in Egypt, and refined the work in Prague. Since then he has been devoted to a single flower, and the science, history and ritual behind it.
His work sits where the alchemist meets the priest: spagyric alchemy on one hand, and reviving the priest lineage of the temples on the other.
The flower was never a secret, but the way you meet her is.

I felt like I melted into the ground. Supported and expanded, this sense of expansion. Since my first session I've calmed down a lot. I'm not so worried anymore. I just feel safe. Like I can just go ahead and live.
What you are bringing here, it is so strong and subtle at the same time. I'm amazed by the energy it brings out. I was always afraid of plant medicines before, but this one came straight to my heart. I'm so touched. So grateful. It's beyond words.
For more than half a year I've been telling myself maybe I'm broken, that I'm not enough. But in the ceremony I received one sentence that stayed with me: you are as you are. I felt it deeply, on my whole body. Now I feel, it's okay. That's me.
